Group Chief Executive Officer

Brendan is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s long term strategy, global company growth, managing overall operations and customer satisfaction.

Brendan joined White Clarke Group in 2001 and, under his leadership, the group has grown to become a global force in the Auto Finance and Asset Finance industry. With over 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector, including a number of board level appointments, his special expertise is creating and delivering strategic change initiatives. Before joining the company he was IT director at Bank of Ireland Asset & Motor Finance. In that role he married responsibility for all technology and business process improvement initiatives with strategic consultancy to the consumer finance divisions.

Brendan holds a first in Computer Science from Trinity College, plus a post graduate qualification in Object Oriented Software Engineering, in addition to his MBA from Cranfield.

Under his direction, recent achievements include the development and launch of the CALMS platform, and the company’s expansion into the USA and BRIC regions, with major activity expanding Chinese and Brazilian markets. CALMS has attained formidable technical and business process leadership in the industry.

A keen mountain hiker, he has competed in a number of charity challenges, such as the 24 Peaks (one of the most demanding mountain walking events devised as a charity challenge, 24 peaks in the Lake District, each over 2,400 feet, all walked in 24 hours over a single weekend).
