Objectives: Analyze customer requirements in order to design efficient and effective processes that meets the customer’s needs; then translate this information in to detailed system requirements for input to the solution delivery stage

Description of the role

  • Work on client sites and face to face with customers
  • Write functional requirements and use cases to meet client specification
  • Transfer of business knowledge and expertise to other employees
  • Build good working relationships with customers
  • Resolve client issues and queries concerning business functionality requirements
  • Investigation and resolution of business systems issues

Requirements of the role

  • Business experience gained within the finance industry – ideally asset or motor finance
  • Experience of and involvement in the software development lifecycle, to include user acceptance testing and system implementation
  • Technical skills to perform analysis of design and system issues e.g. SQL expertise
  • Strong client communications skills – ability to work under pressure from a demanding client
  • Strong testing analytical skills to resolve issues within short timeframes
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is desirable
  • Some testing of solution delivery
  • Some pre-sales activities
  • Proven analytical capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Well-developed time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst multi-tasking
