Company History

It all began in 1992 when two successful management consultants with complementary experience joined forces to form the eponymous consultancy.

 

Ed White, Chairman

After gaining a first in physics at St Catherine's College Oxford, followed by a doctorate in theoretical physics, Ed moved into consultancy and became a director of Anderson Consulting, with special responsibility for their work in information technology and advising banking and asset finance clients.

Ed has lectured widely on emerging trends in the financial services sector and acts as consultant to a number of institutions, banks and multi nationals on strategic information technology strategies. He is also the author of the leasing industry’s annual review, the Global Leasing Report.

 

 

Dara Clarke, CEO

Dara has many years 'hands-on' experience within the banking industry and the asset finance sector. This included the posts of Finance Director, General Manager and other senior roles within organizations such as Barclays Bank group of companies, 3I Group and TSB subsidiaries. He has specialized in new company set ups, reconstructions, mergers and acquisitions.

Dara has consulted on behalf of the World Bank and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development in emerging markets.

  • 2007 WCG Asia Pacific – Sydney hub
  • 2008 WCG Europe – Germany hub
  • 2009 Opened offices in Austria
  • 2010 Opened offices in Atlanta, USA
  • 2010 Nexus Business Solutions, now named White Clarke Automotive Solutions became part of the WCG
  • 2011 Office in Shanghai
