Summary: Business Analysts at White Clarke Group analyse our client’s requirements in order to design efficient and effective processes that meet the client’s needs. They then translate this information in to detailed system requirements for input to the solution delivery stage.

Description of the role

  • Consult with customer to identify, define and document their business needs, requirements and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access
  • Deliver functional system designs per agreed client requirements and within project constraints (time, schedule, quality, etc.)
  • Lead development teams from functional perspective and through ownership of certain functional areas, provide information and coordination within various development teams to deliver new functionality
  • Share own expertise/experience with White Clarke Group business analysts, contribute to White Clarke Group approach and practices, provide internal training

Requirements of the role

Required:

  • Ideally experience with a background in Asset Finance or experience within the Finance industry would be beneficial, in lieu of finance industry experience, we would be looking for evidence of a Maths background or mathematical ability
  • Experience in business analysis (writing/reviewing requirement specifications) or hands-on development
  • Strong client skills as this is a client facing role, ability to build relationships quickly with clients and have clear communication
  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Willingness to wear many hats as this role require the individual to participate in all aspects of the projects including documentation and testing
  • Ability to take ownership and be responsible for actions
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
  • Attention to detail, with ability to produce clear, concise documentation
  • Well-developed analytical capabilities, strong testing analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst multi-tasking
  • Work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of MS Office toolset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Willingness to travel and to spend short periods of time away from home on occasion
  • Fluent English in verbal and written communications (German will be an advantage)

A plus:

  • Proven ability to contribute to large, complex projects on time & on budget and to manage a workstream
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence
  • Beneficial would be experience of technical skills that allow you to perform analysis of design and system issues e.g. SQL
