Summary: Reporting to the Group Accountant, you will be responsible for processing invoice, expenses, payments and the control of the Supplier and Customer ledgers as well as monthly KPI’s on agreed company financial performance to strict deadlines.

Description of the role

  • Daily and weekly processing of supplier invoices, staff expenses and credit cards
  • Fortnightly supplier payment runs
  • Weekly debt collection of outstanding invoices
  • Debtor and Creditor monthly reconciliations and month end journals
  • Reconciling and recharging of client expenses
  • Journal creation and input into nominal ledger
  • Updating the weekly cash flows
  • Liaising with non-finance stakeholders across the company including operational staff and Project managers
  • Assist team colleagues as appropriate and deal with applicable queries

Requirements of the role

  • Currently studying towards an accounting qualification or qualified by experience
  • A knowledge of Credit Control
  • An Intermediate to Advanced level or Microsoft Office skills is required
  • Experience in multi-currency and multi revenue stream business concepts preferred
  • Highly driven with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
