Graduate / Junior – Sales and Marketing Assistant

Summary: Provide critical support to our Sales and Marketing teams in two main areas: Market research and analysis - conducting market & competitor research, creating marketing materials and undertaking administrative functions. Pre-sales preparation – working with our sales team to assist with the preparation of sales presentations, demonstration scenarios and demonstration environments

Description of the role

  • Conduct market research/analysis
  • Create and maintain marketing materials
  • Assist with coordination of industry events
  • Create and maintain sales presentation materials
  • Design and create demonstration scenarios for client specific demonstrations
  • Administrative support for the local Sales and Marketing team

This role requires that you spend an average of 10-20% of your work time travelling to client sites and other White Clarke Group offices.

Requirements of the role

  • A recent University degree
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with an energetic & outgoing personality
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Able to multitask while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Organized with the ability to re-prioritize on the fly
  • Skilled with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Flexibility with work hours & travel based on business needs

Nice to have

  • Experience in a marketing, sales, or customer service
  • Experience / understanding of commercial software development
  • Experience with automotive or consumer lending
  • Experience with managing documents in shared repositories (Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience with RFP tools (RFPIO, Seismic, etc.)
